Bruce Allan

Bruce Allan was born in Boston, Lincolnshire in 1950.

He studied for a Dip AD Sculpture at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham, Wiltshire 1969-73He was a Founder Member of Artspace Bristol 1975-77 and a Founder Member, Bristol Sculpture Shed 1984

He now lives in Blakeney, Gloucestershire and is Project Manager for the August/September 2000 Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust artists’ residencies.

Since 1989 Bruce Allan exhibited widely in the UK, Germany, the Republic of Georgia, Italy, Poland and Japan.

He has undertaken public art commissions in the South West of England and in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, Residencies in the Republic of Georgia and in Hanover and has exhibited since 1999 in the UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, Republic of Georgia and Japan.

He has won awards in the UK and Germany and his work is in the collection of the Arts Council of England and private collections in the UK and Germany.
