Making our Mark (MOM)

Making Our Mark is a project involving 13 to 20 year olds who live in the Forest of Dean, exploring what the Forest of Dean means to them. As a result of exploring the creative culture and heritage of the Forest of Dean, the Making Our Mark team are creating a series of resources including an interactive DVD. The Making Our Mark project is based at The Wilderness Centre. Ros Daniels, youth worker on the project, is the FODST Trustee responsible for Outreach programming.

The MoM team were really excited by The FoD Sculpture Trail and decided to focus on it as part of their project and their Arts Awards. When the opportunity came along to work on an outreach project alongside Echo, the team grasped it and created their own mini-exhibition. The outcome was shown at Beechenhurst called Copyshine as part of the 21st birthday celebration of the trail.
